I'm guessing the old Hill home-site won't have room for everyone's RVs , tents etc. Does anyone know if there is still a village campsite? Used to be one by the river. Really looking forward to this get-together!

Yes Ken, the campsite is still over on the old ball field, they raised the fee per day to 10.00$ from 5.00, the village has been keeping it nice, water available there too.

Terry's right, we stayed in the old ballpark when we went in for the 50th reunion and had a blast telling old stories around the campfires!!  Karen |

Yesterday April17th had a conversation with most of the people who provide rooms, they all said if booked early there will be rooms available. Even if you wait too long and no commercial rooms are available by then, show up anyway, we'll get you a place to lay your head. Just one note though, the North Island games will be held in Zeballos this summer, those games end August 6th, probably won't be much for vacancy before that. In the lodges or at the RV sites. As far as RV sites the old ballpark RV site is available on a first come basis, but the village will take reservations on their RV site by the new ballpark, 15 and 30 amp services available there. Post and Beam Lodge do have a few RV sites available as well. Hi everyone: Just back from Mexico and getting ready to head up to Courtenay Friday for my 50th Graduation Reunion!! I didn't realize I was even that old!! Looking forward to the trek into Zeballos in August as I know all of you are too, be there or be square as we used to say. Karen |

Just returned from visiting our son in Beijing for three weeks and looking forward to the next trip, Zeballos. I am flying into Campbell River from Almonte, On. on 8th Aug and hooking up with Stan to head for Zeballos on the morning of the 9th. Hopefully we will arrive early noon as I have to head back out on the 11th to catch my morning flight home on the 12th. Hope to see you all there. Al

Rich and I will be heading in on Sunday the 4th, we will be up on the old homesite, camped out. Unfortunately Rich has to head out on the Wednesday and won't be around for the weekend of the tenth. Looking forward to seeing you all. Terry

Hi you all, what a grand get together. It was amazing once you got the thought processes going what came out of the memories. I was very glad to see all who came. Filled in some of the forgotten memories and then a person could remember even more. Thank you to all who came and please remember to thank the village clerk and village council for their help in this. In the town there wasn't that much left to see from the late forties and early fifties, gave a good exercise in figuring out where everything fitted. It was a beautifull three days.
